Cute place with delicious coffee. Fairly decent parking.

Nice homey spot. Very welcoming and quick.

I'll be back next time I'm in town.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST COFFEE IVE HAD.

Customer service was not very good either, they need more people to work there because there was a long line and the lady was trying to do the drinks at the same time. Was about a 5-7 min wait to just order.

Ordered a hazelnut latte with almond milk small . I got charged way more then I should have for the coffee. Given my friend got a large and it was cheaper for her. They gave me light ice, the coffee was just so bad couldn't finish it and has to throw it away. Worst $6 I've spent.

I'm a coffee junky and love a great cup of Joe. Part of the experience of getting coffee every morning is the experience one has with their coffee shop.  Coming to chestnut coffee house, I was hoping for a friendly face and a great cup of coffee. The coffee was on point the lady working the cash register was not friendly.

Good coffee, not friendly service. (Nice baristas though)

"You are a strange and interesting woman.
Now what?" - Serendipity (the movie)

Serendipity led me to Chestnut Street Coffee Roastery, but ehh serendipity can be not so romantic at times. I was in the Marina district recently and in the need of a good cup of coffee. It was just minutes after sunrise so only a few places were open, i.e. Starbucks, Starbucks, and more Starbucks lol. Nothing against Starbucks as I am a gold card holder like most, but when I'm wandering around the city I love to venture into neighborhood coffee shops. I'm a supporter of small biz first!

I find myself on Chestnut street following a herd of Yoga Mommies in Lululemon, coming or going who really knows... But these chicks got money, honey, and each with a cup of coffee! Now I really need some! I look up and low and behold a coffee shop...

Chestnut Street Coffee Roastery! It was obvious when I walked in they have regulars from the area. Those that were greeted by name. I was greeted after everyone else and the Griswald family behind me seemed to be more enthusiastically greeted. Maybe it's just me being sensitive or maybe I just didn't blend into the Marina scene? Hmm. Maybe I'm just thinking too much, but thinking keeps me creative and sometimes very horny, lol. Ahh well!

The interior is very warm with wall murals that remind me of a Château in Tuscany. Decor of natural dark wood a nice touch! The "Château Margaux" vibe was easy to fall in love with, but was the menu up to par? Well... if you're here for coffee and baked good it'll do! I decide on a cup of French Coffee and a Pumpkin Muffin w/ Cream Cheese!

All in all, a very charming café with smooth coffee, but meh meh service. I'm not one to bash independent businesses but I do expect a friendlier environment in non-chains. A great place to read a Nicholas Sparks book. Oh well, I'd return if in the area, or maybe it might be Le Starbucks and the generic friendly greeting I've come to accept. Ciao!

Iced decaf tea was light and refreshing. Their baked goods was delicious and tasted fresh. We had good customer service. Wish they had more restrooms. It's one stall for both genders so you can be waiting. Nice spot for a small snack.
